Shania Martin Represents Her Own Style

I’ve always known that I wanted to be in front of a camera since I was a child. I love taking pictures especially in school, I would be so excited to get up & get ready for school just to take pictures. Once I became a teenager & began using social media my obsession with modeling went through the rough! It was the Atlanta based females that really inspired me the most, I loved them so much and I felt I was just as beautiful, and I knew I had it in me. These were young bosses. They were paid, living their best lives, and living out my dream. I began working on my career immediately. It was my 15th birthday when I did my first photoshoot, after that shoot I began to build my portfolio.

I’m a huge fan of street style fashion. I love all clothing, but street is my go to look. I’m infatuated with the chill look of street clothing it gives me a TLC vibe, the way they dressed was just so dope & different to me. I haven’t always been the best dresser, when I was a little kid my aunt gave me the nickname Punky Brewster because I would get up everyday & throw on all types of tacky clothes & shoes. My beginning years of middle school I was a basic dresser, I didn’t care to much about fashion, but my bestfriend was a FLY GIRL & that inspired me to get back into fashion. My 7th grade year I decided to get back into fashion & it was TERRIBLE up until my 10th grade year. I would dress so weird because I didn’t like looking like anyone else.

Jayda is my biggest inspiration, I absolutely love her. I’ve been following her since I first got Instagram when I was 13 & now I’m 21, that’s been right years! I really feel like I’ve grown up with her. She’s so beautiful & motivated as long as I’ve followed her she’s always been about her business. I remember when she started her first business, that really made me want to boss up. I was already working on a clothing businesss, but I didn’t have the coins for mine to boom as fast as her, but it did motivate me to keep pushing & never give up because she was only 17 and really making it happen. I can’t wait until I’m as big as her with modeling career & my business.

I don’t really have a favorite fashion brand. It can be the smallest brand to the biggest brand either way if I like it I’m going to wear it.

In the future I wish to see myself being a multimillionaire with many different businesses. My main accomplishment is to be in magazines, on billboards, & TV. I plan to open stores in NYC, LA, SC, & ATL as well as have my online boutique, I want a tv show as well. There’s just so many things that I wish to accomplish on earth before my time is up & I will make it happen! Even if it takes the last breath in my body I will make it happen, I have a family to feed. So I’ll do anything in my will to be successful.

How Honey Daniels Expresses Her Fashion

When did you realize you wanted to become a model?
I was 16 years old working in a small hair salon in Queens, and as the person behind the scenes, I always wondered what would it be like to be on front lines. People used to tell me all the time to “just do it” but I didn’t think I was mentally prepared to do it at that time. As I grew older and went through some crazy experiences and I realized that I had an insecure mindset. I then met so many other women who felt the exact same way I did. We all felt like we were wasting our lives and time was passing by, working 9-5 jobs not being able to afford the latest clothes, have our nails the way we want it, only doing your hair just to go work long hours at a job we hate , skin breaking out from stress. Just that feeling of being undesirable. I told myself I was going to be the example to women that any dream you have is possible. Being a model to me is bigger than being sexy for a camera. I am representing women around the world that have that same insecure mindset I had to show them that being a “bad b!tch” is a mentality & a lifestyle not just a look. Bad b!itches are confident , smart, powerful , and strong. As a woman you are worthy of any and everything! I teach women when you speak, speak with purpose and speak life into yourself every single day!

What is your fashion style and favorite type of clothing?

I like a cross between super sexy dresses & rompers or very chill clothes such as sweats.

Who are some of your inspirations?

I find inspiration in all successful women before me. Seeing them get up and grind, especially those women with kids just makes me go extra harder to reach my goals.

What are your favorite fashion brands?

I honestly don’t have a favorite brand I really like what ever makes me feel sexy.

Do you have any special events coming up?

My birthday is coming up in October I’m having a Yatcht Party in Miami celebrating my 25th birthday.

Where have you been featured?

So far I’ve featured in a music video with Da Baby, Gucci mane , Foogiano & Stunna4Vegas.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

Aside from modeling, I’m going to own a slew of businesses as well as investing into my community.

When did you realize you wanted to become a model?

I started to model as an outlet. It allowed me to tap into my alter ego. I fell in love with it. I quickly realized that I wanted to do this as a career. I’ve always been an artistic and expressive individual. Now I can create with my entire vessel.

What is your fashion style and favorite type of clothing?

My fashion style is all over the place. I’m a very versatile individual. I truly love the art of streetwear, but I also love light and flowy outfits. I love to wear long skirts and stylish jackets. It’s definitely my go-to. Although, don’t be shocked to see me pull up in basketball shorts and a graphic t-shirt.

Who are some of your inspirations?

Some of my biggest inspirations are fashion icons such as Tiana Parker, Megan Thee Stallion, and Yoon Ambush. I am empowered by female icons who step it up a notch. They aren’t afraid to be extra and resilient.

What are your favorite fashion brands?

My favorite fashion brands currently are Brother Vellies, Baby Phat, and I Am Gia.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I see myself modeling for my favorite fashion and beauty brands. After years of increasing my education, I plan to be a certified fashion stylist. I’d love to be styling outfits for celebrities. I hope by that point I will have taken a few steps into the acting industry. Working for commercials and catalogs. The possibilities are endless.
