We had the chance to sit down with Bigg Jigg and ask him about his top 3 tips for up and coming artists.

Tip #1) Set Aside A Marketing Budget

A lot of artists will spend their money on studio time and production costs but dry up when it comes to their marketing budget. It doesn’t make sense. You need to have a budget and a game plan for every step you take in this industry or it will come back to bite you in the ass.

Tip #2) Reach Out

You never know who you can get in touch with unless you reach out to them. Through Email, twitter, or DM, it doesn’t matter… reach out and reach up! Don’t you think its a good idea to ask somebody for a feature that’s hot in another city? Thats how the game works. Don’t be shy, the greatest artists are champions of the networking game.

Tip #3) Be A Leader

You need to have leadership qualities in this music industry to show the world what you’re truly capable of. Some of the greatest artists became great because they paved a path to a new way of creatively expressing themselves and their new ideas.

Rising artist out of Puerto Rico, La Mata JaeLuna, is taking over the streets with his latest album titled “Paradisiaco”. Released March 30th, 2021, after a successful tail off his latest single titled “Titera”, JaeLuna has built a name for himself in the Latin reggaeton scene.

Working together closely with Gaby Metálico, an award winning and multi-platinum producer know for creating hits with artists like Ozuna, and Jon-Z, La Mata JaeLuna has found the recipe for creating great hits, and he didn’t do it alone. Also involved in the projects success were the likes of Raggaeton Caro, support from Watuki Music and Carlos Diaz Valdés, an art director based out of Santiago, Chile.

JaeLunas’s latest album comes with a raw nuance of tropical flavor and dives deep into the sounds of urban raggaeton. Should anyone think Luna might waste their opportunity to exceed people’s expectations of his capabilities, “Paradisiaco” offers a diverse variety of unique Latin sound.
