Anela Tayen Is A Certified Fashion Stylist On The Rise

When did you realize you wanted to become a model?

I started to model as an outlet. It allowed me to tap into my alter ego. I fell in love with it. I quickly realized that I wanted to do this as a career. I’ve always been an artistic and expressive individual. Now I can create with my entire vessel.

What is your fashion style and favorite type of clothing?

My fashion style is all over the place. I’m a very versatile individual. I truly love the art of streetwear, but I also love light and flowy outfits. I love to wear long skirts and stylish jackets. It’s definitely my go-to. Although, don’t be shocked to see me pull up in basketball shorts and a graphic t-shirt.

Who are some of your inspirations?

Some of my biggest inspirations are fashion icons such as Tiana Parker, Megan Thee Stallion, and Yoon Ambush. I am empowered by female icons who step it up a notch. They aren’t afraid to be extra and resilient.

What are your favorite fashion brands?

My favorite fashion brands currently are Brother Vellies, Baby Phat, and I Am Gia.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I see myself modeling for my favorite fashion and beauty brands. After years of increasing my education, I plan to be a certified fashion stylist. I’d love to be styling outfits for celebrities. I hope by that point I will have taken a few steps into the acting industry. Working for commercials and catalogs. The possibilities are endless.

How Honey Daniels Expresses Her Fashion

When did you realize you wanted to become a model?
I was 16 years old working in a small hair salon in Queens, and as the person behind the scenes, I always wondered what would it be like to be on front lines. People used to tell me all the time to “just do it” but I didn’t think I was mentally prepared to do it at that time. As I grew older and went through some crazy experiences and I realized that I had an insecure mindset. I then met so many other women who felt the exact same way I did. We all felt like we were wasting our lives and time was passing by, working 9-5 jobs not being able to afford the latest clothes, have our nails the way we want it, only doing your hair just to go work long hours at a job we hate , skin breaking out from stress. Just that feeling of being undesirable. I told myself I was going to be the example to women that any dream you have is possible. Being a model to me is bigger than being sexy for a camera. I am representing women around the world that have that same insecure mindset I had to show them that being a “bad b!tch” is a mentality & a lifestyle not just a look. Bad b!itches are confident , smart, powerful , and strong. As a woman you are worthy of any and everything! I teach women when you speak, speak with purpose and speak life into yourself every single day!

What is your fashion style and favorite type of clothing?

I like a cross between super sexy dresses & rompers or very chill clothes such as sweats.

Who are some of your inspirations?

I find inspiration in all successful women before me. Seeing them get up and grind, especially those women with kids just makes me go extra harder to reach my goals.

What are your favorite fashion brands?

I honestly don’t have a favorite brand I really like what ever makes me feel sexy.

Do you have any special events coming up?

My birthday is coming up in October I’m having a Yatcht Party in Miami celebrating my 25th birthday.

Where have you been featured?

So far I’ve featured in a music video with Da Baby, Gucci mane , Foogiano & Stunna4Vegas.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

Aside from modeling, I’m going to own a slew of businesses as well as investing into my community.

Ariana Negron Is Taking The Runway In Style

When did you realize you wanted to become a model?

Since I can remember, I have always liked the camera, the art, the stage. If I’m honest, I didn’t see myself being a model. I was more of a dancer. When I went to my first modeling casting, Agent Yadira Diaz was delighted with me and told me to give it a try. I had the wrong idea about modeling, due to different stereotypes that society has, and As I was taking the classes I realized, that I wanted to become a model. Although it is a competitive environment, you will find acceptance and diversity. It feels good to be in an environment where you can be you, and there’s no judgement.

What is your fashion style and type of clothing?

I love how you can express your emotions, culture, beliefs through clothing. Living on an island, I always like to have that tropical touch in my closet but classifying my fashion style, I like the combination of Whimsical and Classic. When it comes to playing with colors, combining them in clothes is what I do.

Who are some of your inspirations?

My motto has always been: “Too glam to give a damn” and some of my inspirations in the fashion industry are Naomi Campbell, Beyoncé and Bonnie Humphreys. Women that are Empowered, wild and self-confident are the ones that motivateme the most. Because if they could achieve their goals in the Fashion Industry being leaders and helping others, I can too.

What are your favorite fashion brands?

Give Me Colors! Some recognized brands such as Gucci, Prada, Tommy Hilfiger fulfilled all my creativity expectations of art. When we talk about Fashion in Puerto Rico, some of the styles I like is that tropical vibe: Gustavo Arango, Margarita Alverez, Stella Nolasco and Eddie Guerrero have in their brands.

Do you have any special events coming up?

I have a Fashion Show event coming up called: Moda Extrema 3 season by Yadira Diaz. It will take place in the Embassy Suite of Dorado. The purpose of the event is to give opportunities to different designers and show new collections.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I see myself in the future working as a full-time model, alongside great designers in Puerto Rico and other countries. But for me, it’s not about being the best icon, it’s more of creating emotions in others through the art of Fashion.
